You send the product
Photos, what it is made of (fabric, prints, trims, metal parts, batteries), the age group it is for, the factory and the month it was made, your product IDs, and any lab reports you already have. The first check is free: we tell you whether a CPSC rule covers the product, whether it needs a CPC or a GCC, the rules we expect, the lab tests to order if some are missing, and a fixed price.

You approve the quote and pay
A secure card payment link comes with the written quote, along with a short checklist of the documents we need. The delivery clock starts when we have both your payment and the documents on the checklist.

We check the rules and write the certificate
Each rule is checked against the current eCFR text. We match every test report to the rule and the component it covers, claim only the testing exclusions the regulation allows, and flag gaps: a missing test, a lab not accepted by CPSC for that test, a periodic test out of date, a label the rule requires. If a gap blocks the certificate, we tell you in writing within one U.S. business day.

The Registry import file, and how to import it
Your certificate data comes as a CSV file in CPSC’s official bulk-upload template, with a step-by-step import guide based on CPSC’s own user guide. Importing needs Collection Editor permissions or above in your Business Account CSV guide v3: you, your customs broker or a Collection Editor you designate imports the file, reviews CPSC’s import screen, and certifies Registry guide. We never log into your account and never submit anything to CPSC; the certifier stays legally responsible 16 CFR 1110.15.

Broker sheet and retest date
One page for your customs broker: the Certifier ID, Product ID and Version ID for a Reference message set, the full data set as a fallback, and the check of your HTS number against CPSC’s flag list. For children’s products, the date your next periodic test is due 16 CFR 1107.21.

The limits, stated once more
We are not a testing laboratory, a customs broker or a law firm. We prepare documents from the regulations and your records; you review, certify and submit, and the legal responsibility for the certificate stays with the certifier 16 CFR 1110.15. We cannot promise that CBP or CPSC will admit your goods.
